What is a Parenting Life Coach?

Coaching is not counseling and not therapy but help with real family problems for families with children from hard places.

A couple of years ago I met a wonderful lady at a conference and I found out that she is a Life Coach. I saw a need for the same thing a life coach for parenting. Not just help for any parents but foster and adoptive parents. Parents that struggle daily with children from hard places. 

I completed my training and last year was certified as a Parenting Life Coach. Coaching is working together to find solutions. 

We start out with a free 30 min- 60 min call to get to know each other. We talk about your concerns and what you struggle with as a family, your families strengths and where you need help. You will then be asked to complete intake forms. We will then schedule weekly 30 min phone calls and work on different issues within the family unit. You can email any time with questions or concerns and your emails will be answered within 24 hours. 

I have been a therapeutic foster parent for 14 years. Adoptive Mom to 18 children, trained in Love and Logic, TBRI, LSCI Crisis Intervention specialist, Youth Mental Health First Aid.
