And all thy children shall be taught of the LORD; and great shall be the peace of thy children.
Isaiah 54:13
When we take children into our home it is never an easy undertaking. They are angry and hurt and it comes out often in very destructive ways. These precious children have no peace. The one thing that helps these children the most is to get them into a routine. They thrive when they know what is happening next.
Many of these children have never been to church, never prayed and never known God. So when they are introduced to God and start learning about his ways they are able to find the peace they have never knows. That is what Isaiah 54:13 means to me.
