In our many years of foster and adoptive care we have gotten some really crazy question. There is the basics like are they all yours? Yes they are. Is the daddy black? I would assume so or I don't remember. What did the parents do to loose them? None of your business. Are you keeping them? (Like they are a puppy. ) if God says so. How do you afford so many kids? I don't God does. Don't you have enough? They are not a prize that I have won they are a blessing I have been given. When are you going to stop adopting? When God says that's enough and he has not said that yet. Or my favorite when Simone thought my 15 year old African American son was my significant other. Which scared him for life and creeped me out a little too.
