15 years of craziness

When I married this man 15 years ago Today he didn't know what he was getting into. He had never had children and lived and worked on a ranch in Colorado. He spent days tending cows, horses and driving tractors. Irrigating fields and putting up hay.

A few months after we got married I told him that I felt like I was called to foster children. He looked at me like I had three heads. Then said I should have mentioned that before we got married.

Im sure it's not the 15 years he had imagined but it has never been boring. In 15 years we have adopted 16 working on #17 and #18. We have 4 grandchildren. Some 50+ children have been through our home. Many now grown we still stay in contact with.

Other people our age are looking forward to retirement, empty nests and traveling. We are going to school conferences and graduations. I know without a doubt that God called me to foster. However God equipped me by giving me the perfect husband to join me on this great adventure.
