We had our three fosters leave last week. Big change in the house with no toddlers. I miss them while I enjoy the freedom of not having little ones. We are once again down to nine kids and the house seems so empty.
We keep getting the big question. Are you quitting or getting more kids? We have learned through the years of fostering and adopting that we not in control of this journey. We have thought we were done many many times. Even to the point of giving up our foster license a year and half ago. God had different plans and we have had 7 placed with us since giving up our license.
We will continue to listen to what God wants us to do. If that means we are done we are OK with that. If it means taking more into our fold we are ok with that as well.
